Presbyterian Women

PW Purpose

      Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ,

         And empowered by the Holy Spirit,

We commit ourselves;

To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,

To support the mission of the Church worldwide,

To work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive,

caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian

Church (U.S.A.), and witness to the promises of God's kingdom.

 We have regularly scheduled meetings in October, December, March, May, and June.

The PW is also very active with our Together in Service projects.  Baby caps and gowns were made for overseas hospitals.  We also made Ugly Quilts (sleeping bags for the homeless).

Every Palm Sunday a bake sale is sponsored by the PW.  This helps to send children who are active in the church to summer camp.

Our bazaar helps to support our own Church as well as world-wide mission projects.

Presbyterian Women is a Churchwide organization whose membership is open to all women.
